I just arrived in Houston yesterday and my extended family is providing me with a place to stay indefinitely but I am very independent and looking for my own place ASAP. They are also being very helpful on the job front as they have lived here 20+ years. I plan on taking a waitstaff job to hold me over until I find a professional position in the area.
