I have one cat, and the landlord is fine with other pets but there would be an extra security deposit. There's not much of a yard, so I'm not sure about dogs, but I think he mentioned them being OK. If you can't move in on Dec. 1, you can move in any time in December and have it pro-rated, or just move in on Jan. 1, when you'll be going onto the lease (6 months).
