Hi, There is a large furnished master suite available in NW, DC for $850. The utilities are paid by the owner to a ceiling of $400 and you would have your own bathroom. The house has an on-site laundry facility, street parking and wireless Internet access. The people in the house are in their 20's and early 30's and a good mix of both male and female roommates. The renters consist of students and working professionals in fields including medicine, journalism, and acting among others. Two of the guys work in Adams Morgan and one girl goes to Howard University. We are all pretty mellow, but we do have an occasional get together or game night. The house is a detached Victorian, completely furnished, located about 6 blocks from the Georgia Ave/Petworth Station which is on the Green and Yellow Lines(about a 10 minute walk, one stop away from Columbia Heights and one stop away from the red line). There are a few restaurants, bars and grocery stores nearby. The property is closest to Howard University, Catholic University, and GW. The 930 Club is about minutes away(after New Hampshire Ave turns into Sherman Ave). A little further down you will run into U Street. Long and short term leases are readily available.
