Hey, my name is Dean, and my roommate (Lisa) and I are looking for one other roommate who would like a large 1BR/1BA in our 1315 sq ft 2BR+Den/2BA 2-story loft at Mass Court for the next year starting from July 15. Mass Court is in a great location (heart of NW DC) near Chinatown right across from Georgetown Law and the Center. It's 2 blocks from the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro station (Green, Yellow, & Red Lines) and 1 1/2 block from the Judiciary Square metro (Red Line). The amenities in the complex are great with a rooftop pool, hot tub, 24hr gym, rooftop track, 24hr concierge service, and available garage parking. It's a great looking apartment with granite counters, vaulted ceilings, huge windows. Please check out their if you want more info. We just got a room on the 11th floor which will be better for the view and probably the noise. This is the floorplan (email me for the floorplan). We got a pretty good deal getting a free month of rent and the $600 amenity fee being waived. There are 3 living areas that we can divide. The 1Br on the 1st floor with its own walk in closet and full bath, the 1Br on the 2nd that will share a closet and bathroom with the person living in the 2nd story den area. The apartment looks great and the rooms are very large (especially the 1st floor BR). I was thinking that we would split up the rent (without utilities) like so: $1200 for the 1BR on the 1st floor, $1039 for the 1BR on the 2nd floor, and $800 for the 2nd floor Den space. We are looking for someone who would like to take the 1BR on the 1st floor with its own closet and bathroom. Utilities would probably run $150-200 total per month. The only extra thing would be a $50 application fee to get on the lease (it would cost $200 after July 15 to change the lease). Here's a little info about both of us.
