Please note that anyone moving in will have to be added to my lease regardless of what agreement we come to (a lease will be drawn up between the two of us outlining length and terms of our agreement). This won’t extend my current lease, but this is done is to ensure that you, the person moving in has rights (ie I can’t kick you out and take your key, b/c you are on the lease and can get a key from the office). Whenever you are ready to move out (ie our lease agreement is up and you decide to go our own way), then you will just sign a form saying you relinquish your rights to the apartment, and I will sign something saying I am taking full responsibility back (once again, doesn't extend the current lease at the time). This means that you have to have okay credit and that you must show proof of income to the office. I'm looking for someone to lease for 3- 6 months (to see how things go), and then we can go longer if things workout or go from month to month after the initial period.
