Room for rent

Looking for a sublet from January to August. Rent is $ per month plus a share of utilities split between four housemates. Current occupants are young men who attend Wayne State.

The sublet would be for one of the upstairs bedrooms in the townhouse. It's the 2nd largest room in the townhouse and the only room with two windows. The space we would be shared amongst 3 other roommates who all attend Wayne State University.

We share a townhouse at LaFerte Terrace, a historic line of townhouses in Woodbridge at the corner of Vermont and West Warren. The building dates to and was recently gutted to the studs and rebuilt to make it st Century compatible while maintaining its historic charm where it counts. The townhouse has refinished the -panel doors and hardware, sanded/refurbished the oak flooring, tuck pointed the exterior masonry, and rebuilt the front porch to the building's original specs.

Its modern conveniences include high-efficiency everything, new wiring/plumbing/HVAC/data lines, central air, Energy Star-rated stainless steel appliances, private washer and dryer, large back deck, and more. Each townhouse has off-street parking behind the building. The green space around the building is home to more than freshly planted trees and is open to the tenants. There are raised garden beds and fruit trees in the backyard next to a billboard-sized mural of the city of the Detroit's flag. A life-sized replica of the Dr. Who TARDIS that serves as a free library is down the street.

LaFerte Terrace is two blocks away from the True North Quonset hut development, Ochre Bakery, and Barda restaurant to the west. Woodbridge Pub, Pie Sci, Bikes & Coffee, The Lexington Bar, and Wayne State's athletic fields are three blocks away to the east. LaFerte Terrace is within easy walking distance of Wayne State, the College of Creative Studies, and the DMC.
